went to the book shop the other day for the signing by Kit Berry.
Great Girl!
Great Books!
More local authors sould turn up to promote their work in local independent shops instead of relying book chains to do all the work.

Welcome to the board. I must have seen you at the signing but I can't think who you are! Noddy is obviously your alias - it's better that way as you can say what you feel without fear of recrimination!
Anyway, I agree with what you say re local authors. Also though it would be nice if nationally known names were to do more signings in local bookshops. Clive Stafford Smith (signing at the shop on 11 Aug) is internationally known and we would certainly welcome anyone with a similarly high profile.
Anyway, thanks for posting and hope you can make it on 11 Aug.
